Ever since I can remember, I've carried a notebook and a pen wherever I go. I like to document life, its curiosities, the emotions, relationships, and the moments that move me. They serve as inspiration for my writing.

I am originally from Guadalajara, Mexico but came to the US in the early 2000s to attend college. Two decades later, I am still here, raising three multicultural children along with my Lebanese husband.
I have worked in translation almost as long as I have lived in the States. In 2021 I obtained an M.A. in English — Creative Writing from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
I am a staff writer at Alebrijes Review where we celebrate Latinx art.
